I'M SO EMBARRASSED TO HAVE MISSED THIS UNTIL JUST NOW:

Some provisions of the Patriot Act will expire at the end of this year, including ones allowing roving wiretaps and subpoenas of medical, business and library records without informing the person being investigated. Should these provisions be renewed, and if so, should Congress put tighter restrictions on their use?
A. All provisions of the Patriot Act due to expire at the end of the year should be renewed, including all wiretapping WHY? WE ARE NOT PRESENTLY BEING SURVIELLED ILLEGEALLY ENOUGH? and provisions allowing subpoenas of all personal, medical and financial records without informing the person being investigated. WHY? ISN'T IT BAD ENOUGH THAT INSURANCE COMPANIES CAN DO THIS, NOW WE HAVE TO HAVE THE FED, WHICH PASSED THE FRICKIN' PRIVACY LAWS IN THE FIRST PLACE, LOOK AT OUR EXPOSED SELVES ALSO?
The President and the Executive branch should be given great leeway in fighting the war on terror and protecting the country. WHY? JUST HOW FUCKING GOOD OF A JOB HAVE THEY DONE SO FAR? THEY ARE DOING EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO INFLAME THE MUSLIM WORLD, ENCOURAGE ISRAEL TO WREAK ACTS OF TERROR UPON THE U.S. - TO KEEP THE CUSTOMERS TERRIFIED; KEEP 'EM TERRIFIED
In times of war, BUT, YOU STUPID DICK HEAD, WE ARE NOT IN A TIME OF WAR, MERELY AN ENDING CYCLE OF INVASION AND OCCUPATIONthere will be the potential for a temporary erosion of certain civil liberties NOT SURE, THERE IS A CERTAINTY FOR A VIRTUALLY PERMANENT EROSION OF CERTAIN CIVIL LIBERTIES
so I favor the occasional review of these policies and the requirement that they be reenacted to ensure that abuses by the Executive do not occur. BUT WHAT IS TO KEEP THE ADMINISTRATIVE OR THE LEGAL BRANCHES OR THE MILITARY OR THE CIA, DIA, HOMELAND SECURITY FROM DOING THE ABUSING?
Finally, I do not believe Congress should place any restrictions on the use of any provisions of the Patriot Act and interfere with the President’s execution of the war. IN OTHER WORDS, YOU WANT CONGRESS TO NOT DO ITS JOB OF KEEPING THE EXECUTIVE FROM GOING OFF RESERVATION ON AN UNENDING CAMPAIGN OF INVASION, OCCUPATION, RAPE, TORTURE, MURDER, SUPPRESSION OF VOTING RIGHTS, INSTALLATION OF BRUTAL REPRESSIVE DICTATORS .. ETC, ETC, ETC
