Truck Driver Training Offered at College of Lake County

  • Continuing Professional Development at CLC is offering a 160-hour basic truck driver training course. Learn and practice the necessary skills to pass the state-issued Commercial Drivers License (CDL) exams, permit skills and road tests. Learn the CDL laws, safe and defensive driving techniques through classroom training and behind the wheel training.
    The first week of class is at the Grayslake campus. Hands-on training provided by Eagle Training Services will be at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Grayslake. Transportation is provided from the Grayslake campus to the fair grounds.
  • Price: $4100.00 Funding is available through the Workforce Investment Act for qualified applicants and the program is approved for reimbursement through the Veterans Administration.
