DEDICATED TO MY BELOVED FRIEND, DR KEN BENNETT, PHD, CHAIRMAN EMERITUS DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH LITERATURE, LAKE FOREST COLLEGE, LAKE FOREST, IL

Threading Shakespeare's Sonnets

By: Kenneth C. Bennett

About the Author and the Artist

Professor Bennett has been a student of Shakespeare over a period of sixty years and has published articles on his plays in America, England and Germany. He has taught Shakespeare for over forty years, most of that time at Lake Forest College, Lake Forest, Illinois. His wife, dj Bennett, is an internationally recognized fiber artist, whose intricate embroidery descends in the long line of stitchery that began in the Elizabethan era. The illustrations are hers and demonstrate by their contrasts how working with threads has evolved from the sixteenth century to the age of cyberspace.
