Dear Doris,
This was sent to my mother, Anne. I don't know (or care) who the f#ck Doris is. Typiucal Beano sloppiness.
Thanksgiving is the perfect time to remember and give thanks for the friends and family that give our lives purpose, fulfillment, laughter, and love.
As I reflect on my service in Congress and the campaign that got me there, I'm deeply thankful for your friendship and support. Your generosity of spirit, time, and money made my work in Washington possible. Your energy, ideas, and passion propelled me forward during the toughest of times. Our shared sense of urgency about America's future made us a force to be reckoned with. And, together we made a difference.
Yeah. You made a big f#cking difference all right. Made sure the Cheney administration's goals and agenda were kept in place for 10 f#cking years, and the next two to come. Pathetic loser bitch.
Making sure that the American Dream remains possible for middle class families has been my enduring priority. Particularly during a decade of war, recession, final crisis, and catastrophe (9/11, Katrina, Gulf oil spill) that burdened most families with increased debt and less income.
What American dream is that? That nobody gets sick because we 'tain't got no money for the doctor nor for meds? That after I got fired as a mid-level executive of large international corporation, I took two part-time minimum wage jobs, thereby replacing 40% of my original income? What the f#ck kind of dream is THIS, bitch?
I'm proud of my work on their behalf, including helping to pass historic health insurance and Wall Street reforms; proud of my work to protect children from predators on the internet and polluters of their planet; proud to help small businesses get access to credit and college students access to loans; proud to promote economic policies that support growth and innovation.
I'm sure you ARE proud. You corporate masters are pleased and proud too. Unfuck you forever Melissa Bean. No more breeding.
I'm often asked why I'm a Democrat. My answer is because I believe in fiscal responsibility, socially moderate policy and that government can and should help to create an environment for success. I'm a centrist because government cannot and should not try to guarantee it. That's best left to the individual.
Bull shit. Because you had to run as a democratic candidate to have any chance to defeat fuck-head McCluck from Wauconda. Insufferable.
As you spend time over Thanksgiving with family, you will likely ask your kids, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren about their career goals and how they feel about their future.
Grow pot, make porn, run guns, and generally enjoy the hell out of life.
While families, businesses, and government are in a process of recovery and reengineering, what we should be most proud of is our efforts to be part of the solutions that move our country forward.
WTF? You mean part of the solution to keeping the country status quo, don't you know Beano, Beano?
Thanks for your individual sacrifice and contributions to such progress and for remaining committed to the work ahead. Each of us, with our efforts, and our votes, can and do make a difference!
Thanks suckah!
One assumes she got her signature correct. Perhaps the only correct statement on the page. Good fucking riddance.
Sincerely,
