Thanksgiving day thought on Crime in America

If you are afraid of being murdered, there is more safety in deserting your family and having no friends than in additional police, who rarely have the opportunity to prevent friends and relatives from murdering one another.

Youth is the time in life with the rarest exception when those who live lives of crime take that road.

Most people who commit serious crimes have mental health problems. Those who have lived or worked among serious offenders in prison know that nearly all need psychiatric help and emotionally stabilizing influences.

Rarely is there any relationship between an individual's arrests and his fitness for the job he seeks.
