FLY ME!!!

One Airplane Clips Another at J.F.K.

One airplane clipped another while taxiing at Kennedy International Airport on Monday evening, a spokeswoman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey said. No injuries were reported.
The wing of an Air France Airbus A380 and the tail of a Comair plane made contact, though it was unclear which plane struck the other, the Federal Aviation Administration said. The Comair plane had landed from Boston, and the Airbus was to have flown to Paris. The Port Authority said the accident occurred just after 8 p.m.
Jim Peters, a spokesman for the F.A.A., said that the extent of any damage was not known Monday night and that planes would be inspected by the airlines in the coming days. Mr. Peters said he could not immediately ascertain how frequently such incidents occurred.
