KARACHI: The Sindh government has formed a Joint Interrogation Team (JIT) on the directives of the federal government to probe the May 22 terrorist attack on Pakistan Navy’s Mehran airbase in Karachi.  (Given the high level of Pakistan's CIA equivalent, it is clear that this attack was sanctioned by the Pakistani secret police.)

“An eight-member team has been formed comprising officials of police, Inter-Services Intelligence, Military Intelligence andI ntelligence Bureau,” Sindh IGP Fayyaz Leghari said.

Talking to APP, the IGP said that the investigation had already been launched and efforts were being made to arrest the perpetrators of the attack. (This grammatical construction makes it sound as if the perpetrators are known -- which would be great intel!)

Two surveillance planes of Navy were destroyed by the terrorists.—APP  (Some war plane maker in the US is feeling very happy right now).
