NEWS Metra Trains Stopped at Barrington Station Metra delays on the Union Pacific Northwest line for Thursday, Feb. 3.

UPDATE 7:55 a.m.:
The Union Pacific Northwest Metra train delays are being resolved this morning.
Train 610 is operating again. Passengers heading to Des Plaines and Clybourn will be let off the train at Arlington Heights. The train will then express to Chicago. 
Customers on board train 614 who need to get off between Arlington Park and Des Plaines, Park Ridge and Clyboun, will derail at Palatine. The train will then continue express to Chicago. 
Train 616 will make extra stops at Barrington, Cumberland, Arlington Heights and Arlington Park and pick commuters off of trains 610 and 614.
Train 618 will make its normal stops.
As of 8 a.m., train 610 is operating 65 minutes late, train 614 is 60 minutes late, train 620 is 40 minutes late, train 622 is 33 minutes late, and train 624 is 37 minutes late.

Barrington commuters may be late to work today if the Metra train is their source of transportation. 
Inbound train number 610, which is scheduled to arrive in Chicago at 7:22 a.m., is currently stopped at the Barrington train station with mechanical problems. Because of this, train number 614, scheduled to arrive in Chicago at 7:41 a.m. is also stopped at the Barringon station. 
Metra is working to correct the problem.
